Synopsis
Mahamadou, Diané and Farid have all lost a brother due to a police intervention in the last ten years. Since the deaths of their brothers, they live with pain, impossible mourning and determination to obtain justice.
Biography
Ugo Simon was born in Paris in 1992. He graduated from SciencesPo Paris with a Master’s degree and then entered the editing department of La Fémis in 2017. He has edited a dozen short movies and directed two others. His first film, Tilleen, was selected at Cinema du Réel in 2021. Frères (Brotherhood) is his second film.
